Brief History Of
Organization |
| |
|
Arab Scout
Regional Office is one of the six offices affiliated to World
Scout Bureau which, as defined by the Constitution of WOSM (the
World Organization of Scout Movement), plays an essential role
within the World Organization by helping its governing and
coordination bodies in their work both at world and regional
levels. In particular, it identifies local needs and the help
necessary to solve them. The Arab Region is also an important
and operational element in a truly decentralized, diversified
operation within the Movement, the main strength of which is its
worldwide unity and integrity.
The Arab
Region gives support to its member organizations in the areas
of: youth programs, community development and specific projects,
adult resources, Scout Management as well as development of
cooperation with other Scout regions and relevant international
organizations and agencies. |
